Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offered a unique Tudor-style decor with spacious rooms filled with natural light, although the switch combination by the front door was a bit odd. The suite exuded an elegant antique medieval charm. The service was top-notch, especially thanks to the delightful Kimberly, with convenient amenities like room service and tours. The location was suitable for a family trip, close to Christchurch attractions but about a 20-minute walk to the town center. The dining experience, though expensive, was somewhat lacking in variety but made better with assistance from Tony. Overall, a pleasant stay with a few quirks.
The hotel's rooms were very tidy and clean, with fully functioning amenities and all the creature comforts of home. However, there was an ant problem and a lot of non-working lightbulbs. The service was excellent with very friendly staff, and the location was amazing, central to the city and outer suburbs. The dining experience was okay but could have offered more choices. Facilities were satisfactory overall.
I was truly impressed with the suite at this hotel, furnished in an elegant antique style. The spaciousness of the suite, with its two bedrooms and large living area, was a pleasant surprise. The water pressure in the shower could use a check, but overall, it was a fantastic experience.
